

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that Nicole Brittain was recently named to the Outrun the Sun Race Against Melanoma marketing committee. The committee oversees marketing and public relations activities associated with the annual run/ walk benefiting melanoma education and research.
Outrun the Sun, Inc. is the only nonprofit organization in Indiana dedicated to building national awareness of melanoma and other skin cancers, educating communities about preventive measures that reduce melanoma's incidence rate, and to raising funds for melanoma research, leading to effective treatments and a potential cure. The fifth annual Outrun the Sun Race Against Melanoma will take place in Indianapolis in June 2009.
A resident of Zionsville, Brittain serves as an associate in the firm's Business Services Group. She earned her bachelor's degree from Ashland University and her law degree from Indiana University – Bloomington. She also worked as a summer associate at Bose McKinney & Evans in 2006. Additionally she worked as business affairs manager for Indy Racing League and as a special projects coordinator for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
While in law school, Brittain was articles editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, admissions fellow for the Indiana University School of Law, a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Pro Bono Project and received Dean's honors.
