The law firm Bose McKinney and Evans LLP is proud to announce that Stephen Unger and Elizabeth Schuerman have been named by Indiana Lawyer as "Up & Coming" lawyers in its 2012 Leadership in Law Award program.
Each year, the Up and Coming Lawyer Award recognizes 15 recipients based on their professional commitments, social and civic involvement, and community volunteerism. Members of the legal community who have practiced law for seven or fewer years are eligible. According to Indiana Lawyer, recipients were selected because their nomination rose to the top as an example of the professional qualities and accomplishments the award embodies.
Unger is a partner with Bose McKinney & Evans, practicing in the Utilities and Governmental Services Groups where he assists clients with a broad range of utility and local government issues. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis and earned his bachelor's degree from Butler University. In addition to regularly volunteering at the Dayspring Center homeless shelter, he also is an active volunteer helping youth through Connection Pointe Christian Church and the Hendricks County YMCA where he has coached youth in tee ball and basketball.
Schuerman is an associate in the Medical Malpractice Group of Bose McKinney & Evans. She practices primarily in medical malpractice defense, construction litigation and general litigation. Schuerman counsels clients through all aspects of litigation including presuit negotiation, discovery, mediation, and trial.
