The law firm Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is proud to announce the appointment of partner Lisa McKinney to the board of advisors for the upcoming Women's Leadership Conference, presented by Integrating Woman Leaders, Inc.

The Women's Leadership Conference will be held October 2 at the Indiana Convention Center.

During the conference, attendees will learn how to improve their presentation and communication skills, ways to better manage the stress of family and work, and overall leadership behaviors that can advance their careers. As a member of the advisory board, McKinney will help develop the conference agenda and content, as well as select speakers. In addition, she also serves as legal counsel for Integrating Woman Leaders' executive board of directors.

McKinney joined Bose McKinney & Evans in 1992. She is a partner in the Environmental Law Group and chair of the Hospitality, Alcoholic Beverage and Administrative Law Groups and represents a range of clients from restaurants, large retailers, importers, big box stores, developers, hotels, grocery stores, taverns and clubs.

McKinney has served in leadership positions for several community organizations including the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations, the Indianapolis Art Center, and the Indianapolis Zoological Society.

A 1992 graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law, she is past-president of the Alumni Board of Directors for the Indiana University Maurer School of Law Alumni, a member of the IU Maurer School of Law Board of Visitors and a representative for the Maurer School of Law on the IU Alumni Association Executive Council.
