Swider Is Recognized As An Indiana Chamber

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that the Indiana Chamber of Commerce selected partner David L. Swider as one of three winners of the "Volunteer of the Year" award.

Swider was honored at the 9th Annual Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon on Nov. 6 at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center. The keynote speaker was Randall T. Shepherd, Chief Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court.

The Volunteer of the Year Award was established by The Chamber in 2001. It honors individual members specifically for their outstanding volunteer service to the Chamber.

Swider is a partner representing management in labor and employment law matters, including labor and employment law litigation, employment discrimination, NLRB practice and procedure, grievance resolution and arbitration, affirmative action, collective bargaining, wage and hour and unemployment compensation.

He chairs the firm's Labor and Employment Law Group and has been repeatedly recognized and included in The Best Lawyers in America® and Indiana Super Lawyers.

Swider received both his Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance and his law degree from Indiana University, where he was articles editor for the Indiana Law Review and president of the Moot Court Society.

He has served on the Human Resources Committee of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Indiana University School of Law Practitioner Advisory Committee and was a special advisor to the Indiana Manufacturers Association.
