Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Marisol Sanchez was named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by The Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law, a program launched a year ago to recognize outstanding attorneys from the state of Indiana.

The “Up and Coming Lawyer” award honors 15 attorneys “just out of the starting blocks,” with five years or less in the practice. It is given to attorneys who demonstrate achievement in law, involvement in the profession, involvement in and support of their community and mentoring.

An associate in the Litigation and Appellate Practice Groups, representing clients in business and commercial litigation, Sanchez earned her bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Puerto Rico and her law degree from Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington. A resident of Fishers, she is licensed to practice law in Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Tenth Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

While in law school, she was active as the co-executive competition coordinator of the Moot Court Board, and was recognized as being among the Best Oralists and Best Briefs. Sanchez participated in the International Exchange Program in 2001, studying for a semester in Barcelona, Spain. She also served as a legal intern in the Indiana University Student Legal Services and as a member of the Latino Law Student Association. Sanchez is fluent in verbal and written Spanish.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sanchez was a summer associate at Bose McKinney & Evans, and clerked for Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard of the Indiana Supreme Court. Additionally, she is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State and American Bar Associations.
