SANCHEZ RECEIVES UP AND COMING LAWYER AWARD

Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that attorney
Marisol Sanchez was
named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by The Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law, a
program launched a year ago to recognize outstanding attorneys from the state of
Indiana.
The “Up and Coming Lawyer” award honors 15 attorneys “just out of the starting
blocks,” with five years or less in the practice. It is given to attorneys who
demonstrate achievement in law, involvement in the profession, involvement in
and support of their community and mentoring.
An associate in the
Litigation and
Appellate Practice Groups, representing clients in business and commercial
litigation, Sanchez earned her bachelor of business administration degree from
the University of Puerto Rico and her law degree from Indiana University School
of Law – Bloomington. A resident of Fishers, she is licensed to practice law in
Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Tenth Circuits and the
U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
While in law school, she was active as the co-executive competition coordinator
of the Moot Court Board, and was recognized as being among the Best Oralists and
Best Briefs. Sanchez participated in the International Exchange Program in 2001,
studying for a semester in Barcelona, Spain. She also served as a legal intern
in the Indiana University Student Legal Services and as a member of the Latino
Law Student Association. Sanchez is fluent in verbal and written Spanish.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sanchez was a summer associate at
Bose McKinney & Evans, and clerked for Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard of the
Indiana Supreme Court. Additionally, she is a member of the Indianapolis,
Indiana State and American Bar Associations.
