SWIDER TO PRESENT ON ADVANCED EMPLOYMENT LAW

David L. Swider will
serve as chair and moderator of the Indiana Legal Continuing Education Forum’s (ICLEF)
“Advanced Employment Law” as part of the organization’s Master Series beginning
at 2 p.m., June 22-23, at French Lick Springs Resort Casino, 8670 W. State Road
56 in French Lick.
Topics of discussion will include sexual orientation and gender identity
discrimination, employment litigation risk analysis and settlement discussions,
retaliation cases after Burlington Northern v. White, and observations from the
bench regarding employment discrimination litigation. For more information or to

A native of Lowell, Ind., and resident of Lawrence, Ind., Swider chairs Bose
McKinney & Evans’ Labor
and Employment Law Group. He represents management in labor and employment
law matters, including, employment discrimination defense, union avoidance,
preventive counseling, and employment-related litigation.
Swider is a frequent speaker and has written numerous articles on a variety of
labor and employment law topics. He is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana
State and American Bar Associations. Additionally, Swider received his bachelor
of science and law degrees magna cum laude from Indiana University.
