AWARD COMMITTEE ANNOUNCED FOR LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce the Award Committee for the 2007 Lewis C. Bose Scholarship for Educational Leadership. This year’s Award Committee members, who are responsible for the selection of the scholarship winner, include:

  • Dennis L. Costerison, Executive Director, Indiana Association of School Business Officials, Indianapolis, Ind.
  • Dr. Stephen Heck, Executive Director, Indiana Association of Principals, Indianapolis, Ind.
  • Lowell C. Rose, Bloomington, Ind.
  • Dr. John Ellis, Executive Director, Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents,Indianapolis, Ind.

The $2,000 Lewis C. Bose Scholarship for Educational Leadership will be awarded to an Indiana educator who has been accepted into and will attend an advanced degree program for education administration in 2008. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the applicant’s past academic and professional achievements, future goals, potential for leadership and financial need. Educators from all 92 counties in Indiana are invited to apply.

Postmark deadline for submission of scholarship applications is July 31, 2007. This is the sixth year for the Lewis C. Bose Scholarship for Educational Leadership. Emily Brown, English instructor at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, was the 2006 scholarship recipient.
