BOSE MCKINNEY & EVANS TO HOST FREE “UNDERSTANDING NEW CHANGES IN PATENT LAW” SEMINARS

The processes of obtaining and enforcing patents are undergoing the most sweeping changes in years. The changes are coming from not only the United States Patent & Trademark Office, but also from the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court.

The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP will host “Understanding New Changes in Patent Law” from 2-5 p.m., Oct. 24 in the first floor conference room of Meridian Corporate Plaza Two, where the north Indianapolis office of Bose McKinney & Evans is located. The address of the building is 301 Pennsylvania Parkway, north of I-465 and east of Meridian Street in Indianapolis.

The program also will take place from 2-4 p.m., Oct. 25 in the first floor conference room at Purdue Technology Center, 3000 Kent Avenue in West Lafayette.

The program will help you understand, prepare for and handle the new patent process through in-depth discussions, strategic actions to consider and suggested best practices. Topics for the program include:

  • New rules for patent prosecution from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
  • Amendments to patent laws pending in Congress
  • Changes in patent law from the Supreme Court
