OTTEN TO PRESENT AT ALLIANCE OF INDIANA RURAL WATER CONFERENCE

Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that partner Dennis H. Otten will be a speaker at the annual fall conference of the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water on Oct. 23 at University Inn in West Lafayette.

Otten will present “Show Me the Money – How to Fund Your Projects” at the conference and he will also serve on a discussion panel.

The Alliance of Indiana Rural Water, a non-profit organization of nearly 460 small/rural water and wastewater systems, is Indiana's only representative to the National Rural Water Association.

Otten is an attorney in Bose McKinney & Evans’ Public Finance and Utility Law Groups. His primary practice concentration is in municipal finance and utility regulation. He advises municipalities, conservancy districts, corporations and regional districts on taxable and tax-exempt financings, proceedings for regulatory approvals before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, contract review and litigation matters.

A resident of Fishers, Otten received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his law degree, cum laude, from Indiana University – Indianapolis. He was the recipient of the Indianapolis Bar Association 2003 Young Lawyer of the Year Award. Otten is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, National Association of Bond Lawyers and the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association.
