BISHOP TO PARTICIPATE IN FINANCIAL AND ESTATE PLANNING FORUM

Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that attorney MaryEllen K. Bishop will co-present the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum’s (ICLEF) “When Financial Planning and Estate Planning Meet” from 8:55 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Oct. 30, in the ICLEF Conference Facility, 230 E. Ohio Street on the 5th Floor in Indianapolis.

This program will examine common estate planning issues with a team of legal and financial advisors to demonstrate how the two disciplines can interact to produce the most effective plan for the client. For more information or to register visit www.iclef.org.

Bishop is chair of the Indiana University Alumni Association and a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association and Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis. She also received a certification as an Indiana Estate Planning and Administration Specialist by the Estate Planning and Administration Specialty Certification Board of Indiana.

Additionally, she served on the Indiana Probate Code Study Commission under the appointment of Gov. Frank O’Bannon. Bishop is a Fellow of the Indiana State Bar Foundation and a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.

She is admitted to practice law before the Indiana Supreme Court, United States District Court, Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana; United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.

A resident of Carmel, Bishop earned a bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business and her law degree from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.
