Indianapolis, Ind. -- The Indianapolis-based law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that Bryan Babb has been named co-chair of the firm’s Appellate Group.

Previously vice chair of the Appellate Group, Babb is also a member of the Litigation Group at Bose McKinney & Evans. He joined the firm in 2000 after completing a clerkship with Justice Frank Sullivan Jr., of the Indiana Supreme Court. He received a bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a master of science degree from Boston University and his law degree cum laude from Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington.

Additionally, Babb was selected as one of Indy’s ten “Best and Brightest” lawyers under the age of 40, and was recently included in The Best Lawyers in America 2008® in the "Appellate" practice area. He serves on the Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington Alumni Board, and the Indianapolis Bar Association Board of Managers.

A resident of Fishers, Babb served as editor-in-chief for Volume 74 of the Indiana Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, he served as a captain in the Field Artillery with the 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, U.S. Army, Europe. Babb is also a member of the American, Indiana State, and Indianapolis Bar Associations and is admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts, Northern and Southern Divisions.
