NAMED FELLOW OF LITIGATION COUNSEL OF AMERICA
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that partner C. Joseph Russell has been named a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary Society.
The Litigation Counsel of America is a trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers and is by invitation only.
A resident of Carmel, Russell is a member of Bose McKinney & Evans' White Collar Criminal Defense, Litigation and Environmental Law Groups. He represents both individuals and corporate clients threatened with state and federal criminal prosecution in white collar crimes, including environmental matters, as well as clients involved in civil litigation. Russell has practiced both civil and criminal law since 1980.
Listed in the 2008 Best Lawyers in America and a former president of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Russell is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. After serving as law clerk to an Indiana state judge, he joined Bose McKinney & Evans as an associate for three years before receiving an appointment to the post of Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana in 1983. From 1985 to 1992, Russell served on the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force with United States Department of Justice. He returned to Bose McKinney & Evans in 1992. Russell also serves the 7th Circuit Bar Association's Criminal Practice Section as its Indiana chair and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Legal Aid Society.
