Profile
Suzanna Hartzell-Baird is an associate in the Litigation Group of Bose McKinney & Evans, assisting clients with business and commercial disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hartzell-Baird served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Justice Randall Shepard of the Indiana Supreme Court, where she conducted legal research and assisted in drafting opinions. She also worked as a judicial extern for Judge Theodore Sosin (Circuit Court), Judge Thomas Carroll (Superior Civil Court), and Judge Larry McKinney (U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana). During law school at Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, Ms. Hartzell-Baird was one of the first recipients of the U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy Scholarship, received the 2006 Jack Lyle Scholarship, and was on the Dean’s List every semester. She graduated from law school summa cum laude, ranking second in her class. In undergraduate, Ms. Hartzell-Baird was ranked number one in her graduating class, earning a B.S. degree in finance and accounting, and she was named as a Chancellor’s Scholar, received the prestigious Dwight D. Peterson Key Award, and earned 18 other scholarships and awards.
