Karen Glasser Sharp
Profile
Karen Glasser Sharp is a partner in the Education Law and Labor and Employment Groups, assisting school corporations and other public entities with educational and labor-related issues. Ms. Sharp is a frequent author and speaker, addressing a variety of topics regarding educating students with disabilities, complying with educational laws and regulations, and addressing labor issues. Her topics also include post-termination issues, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ms. Sharp has written several articles of relevance to employers in both the public and private sectors. She graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University School of Law and was a Judge William E. Steckler Fellow, note development editor of the Indiana Law Review and co-chair of the Dean’s Tutorial Society. Ms. Sharp served as an intern with the Honorable John D. Tinder, Judge for the United State District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. She has been a practicing attorney since 1989 and a member of the firm since 1992.
