David A. Suess

Profile

David Suess is a partner in the Tax and Business Services Groups. He is licensed to practice law in both Indiana and Illinois. Mr. Suess assists clients with a variety of state and local tax issues, including property taxation, gaming taxation and other tax controversies. He regularly litigates complex property tax assessment and valuation appeals in administrative and court settings in Indiana and Illinois, and has handled similar cases in other forums, including federal bankruptcy court. He graduated with top honors from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 1997. He practiced law, for a year, in Illinois before accepting a clerkship with the Honorable Ronald T.Y. Moon, Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago in 1991 and, prior to law school, worked as a translator-interpreter for a manufacturer in Lafayette, Indiana.
