Receptionist/Conference Center Assistant

Bose McKinney & Evans LLP seeks a Receptionist/Conference Center Assistant.  Candidates are required to have a high school diploma and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a customer service position.  Responsibilities:  assist main Receptionist with answering multi-line switchboard and paging employees, tracking incoming and outgoing deliveries, greet clients and provide assistance, extensive contact with attorneys, staff, clients and outside vendors, maintain parking validation records, assist Conference Center Coordinator with setup and cleanup of all conference rooms, stock conference center kitchen and client coffee area, order food for meetings, backup other team members with stocking and cleanup of employee lounges, loose-leaf filings, data entry for file destruction project, assist with various administrative projects.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is preferred, professional appearance, positive attitude, accepts a challenge and able to work well under pressure, self-starter who works well independently and is able to take direction, cooperative team-player, excellent interpersonal skills and tact, effective communication skills, regularly report to work and adhere to designated work schedule

Legal Administrative Assistant – Litigation

Bose McKinney & Evans LLP seeks a legal administrative assistant to join its Litigation, Labor & Employment, Medical Malpractice and Appellate Practice Groups in Indianapolis. This position will support multiple attorneys within these practice groups. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a legal administrative assistant. Strong litigation experience is required. Proficiency with electronic case filing in the state and federal trial and appellate courts is required. Responsibilities: prepare, transcribe and proofread various litigation documents and business correspondence; scan/copy documents; enter daily timesheets; proofread, edit and finalize pre-bills; prepare reimbursement requests; maintain client files and docket books; plan and schedule meetings and maintain timekeepers’ calendars as needed; coordinate and make travel arrangements; open and close client files and communicate directly with clients.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and advanced level computer skills are required. Positive team player; independent self-starter; excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills; demonstrate good judgment and discretion; generate high-quality work, with exceptional attention to detail and able to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain poise in a fast paced environment.
