Hospitality and Alcoholic Beverage Law

Bose McKinney & Evans attorneys have a wide range of experience in the hospitality industry, representing a variety of participants, including: lenders providing financing to hotel owners and hotel investment groups, owners and investors in hotels, golf courses, convention centers, bars and restaurants, and vendors serving the industry. Our attorneys work together to create a team of business advisors who handle the legal and business needs of our hospitality clients.

From employment unionization and immigration issues, to franchising opportunities to real estate, zoning and construction matters, to contract drafting, review and negotiations, the attorneys of Bose McKinney & Evans can put their experience into play for hospitality clients.

Bose McKinney & Evans has a niche practice in representing clients' interests in alcoholic beverage issues, including permitting. We represent national and local clients, including restaurants, larger retailers, hotels, developers, importers / distributors, bars, golf courses, drugstore chains, vineyards, breweries and boutique stores in administrative proceedings and hearings before the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (ATC) and Tax and Trade Bureau. Our attorneys assist with the procurement of alcohol permits, apply for permit transfers, respond to alleged violations, negotiate with excise police and ATC prosecutors, attend local board hearings and pursue appeals of denials of permit applications. We also guide clients through marketing, advertising and distribution compliance issues.
