The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that partner Daniel P. McInerny has been elected as secretary/treasurer of the Indiana State Bar Association Agricultural Law Section for 2012-2013.
The Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) was founded in 1896 to advance the profession of law and secure a more effective administration of justice; to promote reforms in the law; and to encourage excellence in legal education for the law student and the practicing lawyer. The ISBA is the largest legal organization in the state.
The ISBA’s Agricultural Law Section provides leadership in identifying and addressing current and emerging issues of importance to the agricultural community, monitors proposed and pending legislation and disseminates information to public officials and members of the general public.
McInerny is a partner in the Environmental Law and Agribusiness Groups, and has been a practicing attorney since 1984. He concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental, natural resources and agricultural law, and also has an extensive background in Indiana administrative law. A graduate of Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, he received his J.D. and a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from that institution. Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans, he served as a deputy attorney general, representing the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, the Department of Natural Resources and the Indiana State Department of Health.
He is included in The Best Lawyers in America® 2007-2013 for administrative/regulatory law, environmental law and environmental litigation.
