The law firm Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is proud to announce the appointments of partner R.J. McConnell to the board of directors and partner Bryan Babb to the legal advisory committee for the Indiana Legal Foundation (ILF).
ILF is a non-profit organization that works to protect Hoosier businesses from unreasonable lawsuits. ILF defends businesses in legal cases involving such issues as product liability, taxation, labor relations, worker’s compensation, unemployment benefits, insurance issues and environmental regulation.
As a board member for ILF, McConnell will jointly oversee all activities of the foundation and work to ensure the business community is protected during legal actions. In the corporate segment of his practice, McConnell assists privately owned businesses, health and life sciences industries, as well as publicly held companies, primarily in the areas of succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, business organizations and financing. He is a graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Babb joins executives of major businesses and other attorneys on ILF’s legal advisory committee to assess legal threats to businesses and then recommends action to its board. As an attorney at Bose McKinney & Evans, Babb assists clients with a wide variety of complex commercial appellate and litigation matters. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Boston University and Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
