The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce the firm’s community service by donating 50 “Go Hoosiers” activity books and mobile applications to Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.
Representing the firm, Gregory Hahn, partner at Bose McKinney & Evans, presented the activity books to Dr. Paul Haut, chief medical officer for Riley at IU Health.
“Riley Hospital for Children is an amazing contributor to our community,” Hahn said. “It is my pleasure to present the hospital with this gift on behalf of our firm.”
Each “Go Hoosiers” activity book is designed around Indiana University basketball and offers creative team-related activities. They contain 38 pages of for drawing, coloring, mazes, word search puzzles, crosswords, picture puzzles, games, trivia, basketball facts, connect the dots and word scramblers. It also includes stickers and perforated dream team playing-autograph cards. The mobile application features interactive versions of these activities, giving users the chance to earn virtual awards.
The books were developed by former Indiana native and business owner Darla Hall of In Zone Publications, who has developed similar books in Alabama for children in hospitals. She has donated hundreds of activity books and is passionate about serving children fighting cancer through fundraisers, parties, granting wishes and raising awareness through media.
“One of my greatest missions is to put smiles on the faces of children, and Bose McKinney & Evans’ donation is making this possible for the kids at Riley Hospital,” said Hall.”
