The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that partner Alex Intermill has been selected chair of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Environment Law Section for 2012-2013.
The Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) was founded in 1896 to advance the profession of law and secure a more effective administration of justice; to promote reforms in the law; and to encourage excellence in legal education for the law student and the practicing lawyer. The ISBA is the largest legal organization in the state.
The ISBA’s Environmental Law Section promotes dialogue between legal practitioners and the public on issues related to the environment. The section works to help members of the public become involved in environmental rule making and other process to promote alternative dispute resolution and mediation. The section publishes annually the Indiana Environmental Statutes.
Intermill is a partner of Bose McKinney & Evans in the firm’s Environmental Law, Alcoholic Beverage Law, and Governmental Services Groups. In his environmental law practice, he assists clients with state and federal environmental litigation, insurance recovery, administrative appeals, remediation and securing funds for environmental cleanup from the Excess Liability Trust Fund (ELTF), underground storage tank (UST) issues, NPDES permitting, wetland development, and the acquisition and sale of real property with environmental concerns.
A 2004 graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law – Indianapolis, Intermill clerked at Bose McKinney & Evans while in law school. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Intermill is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations.
