The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce Director of Library Services Cheryl Niemeier will serve as faculty for a National Business Institute Seminar.
The seminar, “Find It Free and Fast on the Net: Strategies for Legal Research on the Web,” takes place Thursday, December 20 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton Indianapolis North.
Niemeier will present four sections of the seminar including:

Investigative Research
Finding Practice Tools
Locating Persons and Finding Background Information
Her presentations will provide detailed background on accessing public records, professional licenses, criminal records, vital statistics and real and personal property records. In addition, she will provide tips for finding sample briefs, motions, complaints, settlements and jury verdicts.
Niemeier has been a professional librarian for 28 years and the director of library services for Bose McKinney & Evans for the past ten years. She frequently speaks at professional association conferences and continuing legal education seminars. Niemeier has authored multiple articles and seminar publications.
Niemeier holds a Master of Science in Library Science degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, Special Libraries Association, Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries and Indianapolis Law Libraries Association.
