The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that Weston Overturf has been accepted into the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Bar Leader Series Class XI.
As part of the program, Overturf will attend nine half-day sessions learning different aspects of leadership. He will meet and interact with prominent legal and community leaders, develop leadership skills and explore long-term opportunities for further leadership.
The Bar Leader Series develops lawyers for future opportunities in leadership roles in the business and legal communities. Through the Bar Leader Series, lawyers learn what it means to be a leader by gaining vital insight from leaders in the community. Lawyers also learn how to communicate, motivate, inspire, and succeed in their law careers and in service to professional, political, judicial, civic and community organizations.
Overturf is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Group of Bose McKinney & Evans. He represents debtors, creditors and other interest holders in bankruptcy cases in both federal judicial districts in Indiana.
He is a recipient of the Up and Coming Lawyer award through Indiana Lawyer’s 2013 Leadership in Law awards. Overturf earned his juris doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law and graduated with his A.B. in liberal arts from Wabash College.
