The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to present a seminar targeting the recent updates in the area of labor and employment.
The seminar titled “Employers Under Fire: Overregulated and Underprepared” takes place on Friday, September 20, at Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel, 11925 North Meridian Street, in Carmel from  9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. ET. Lunch will be served.
Due to the numerous changes that have taken place within federal government agencies, the need for preparation and strategy has become increasingly important. This program will help employers gain awareness and tactics for potential agency overreach regarding enforcement of labor and employment laws, employee and union protections and rights at the expense of employers.
After the main session, smaller roundtable discussions will allow attendees to share their questions, practical concerns and hands-on experience with their professional peers and the attorney moderators.
Program topics will include the following:

  • Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Strategic Plan and Investigation Tactic
  • National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) Expansion Into the Non-Union Sector
  • Immigration
  • The Use of Independent Contractors

The cost for registration is $59. Advance registration is recommended and can be done at www.boselaw.com.
