The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that paralegals Julia Kleinschmidt and Melissa Wakefield will speak about the firm’s involvement in the “Bears on Patrol” program during the Crossroads Kiwanis Club Meeting on Wednesday, January 22.
The “Bears on Patrol” program provides donated stuffed animals to emergency responders to give to children exposed to violence, abuse and many other traumas to provide comfort. Paralegals from around Indianapolis donated a total of 5,371 stuffed animals, the most ever collected through the IndyBar Paralegal Committee, during the last annual collection in December.
As chair-elect for the IndyBar Paralegal Committee, Kleinschmidt has been helping to lead the annual “Bears on Patrol” program. During the Kiwanis meeting, Kleinschmidt and Wakefield will share how the program has made an impact in the lives of children in Central Indiana. They will also talk about how individuals and other organizations can support efforts to collect stuffed animals.
