Bose McKinney & Evans Partner Elected President of the Damien Center Board
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The law firm of Bose McKinney and Evans LLP is pleased to announce that partner Chad Walker has been elected president of the Damien Center Board of Directors.
Walker has been an active board member of The Damien Center since 2012. As board president, Walker is committed to the center’s mission to prevent the spread of HIV and to empower those affected in Central Indiana to move forward each day with dignity.
Founded in 1987, The Damien Center is Indiana’s oldest and largest AIDS service organization. It serves more than 4,000 individuals affected and infected by HIV/AIDS through a comprehensive, innovative approach to HIV care and prevention.
Walker concentrates his legal practice in real estate, insurance regulations and market conduct examinations, business transactions, not-for-profit and state and federal commercial litigation. He has represented clients in various matters including business entity formation, asset purchase and sales, lease negotiations, real estate closings, estate planning, employment disputes and more.
Walker often presents at seminars offered by Business Ownership Initiatives of Indiana on topics such as MBE/WBE certification, business entity selection and contracts. He has presented and authored materials for continuing legal education seminars on real estate transactions.
He is a graduate of the United Way of Central Indiana Ardath Burkhart Leadership Series, and has been selected for several honors including inclusion in Indiana Super Lawyers® – Rising Stars Edition.
Active in the community, Walker serves on multiple boards including the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. He also volunteers for the United Way of Central Indiana.
