The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is pleased to announce that partner Steven Groth has been elected president of the Indianapolis Transportation Club Board of Directors.
The Indianapolis Transportation Club was established in 1907 and promotes networking and stimulating education opportunities in transportation, warehousing, logistics and supply chain management. In addition, the club sponsors scholarships for students to attract and support the future of the industry.
Groth is a partner in the Litigation Group, concentrating his practice on transportation, business, and personal injury litigation. He defends clients in the trucking industry against wrongful death and serious injury claims and represents businesses in connection with contracts, business disputes, and litigation avoidance.
Groth received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois in Champaign and his Juris Doctor degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He also is a Certified Public Accountant. As a former member of the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Groth served as prosecutor, defense counsel and assistant professor of military justice at the United States Naval Academy.
He is admitted to practice in federal and state courts of Indiana and Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
