Sam Laurin, partner at Bose McKinney & Evans, recently co-authored Chapter 11, “Insurance and Bonds,” in the newly published American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law’s A201 Deskbook.
The Deskbook focuses on the analysis of recent revisions to the American Institute of Architects A201 General Condition of the Contract for Construction Form, which sets forth the terms and conditions under which the owner, contractor and architect will work together during the building and construction process.
Sam Laurin is chair of the Bose McKinney & Evans Litigation and Construction Law groups and focuses his practice on litigating construction, commercial and insurance coverage disputes. Laurin has been lead counsel in jury and bench trials in federal and state court. He has served as lead counsel in several arbitration proceedings, many of which involved construction issues. Laurin is also a registered mediator in the state of Indiana.
