IATC Will Allow Alcoholic Beverage Sales on November 4, 2018, Until 3 a.m. Due to Daylight Savings Time
FOLLOWING IS THE TEXT OF A NEWS RELEASE ISSUED ON NOVEMBER 1, 2018 BY THE IATC.
“INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 1, 2018) – The Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission announced that it will allow the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday, November 4, 2018, to continue until 3 a.m.
Because Daylight Savings Time changes clocks to 1 a.m. at 2 a.m. on November 4, alcoholic beverage outlets will have one additional hour during which they may serve or sell alcoholic beverages on this date. Pursuant to Indiana law, they must cease sales at 3 a.m.”
