Bose McKinney & Evans recently welcomed Madeline Aul as a 2023 summer associate and the firm’s Diversity Fellow. The Bose McKinney & Evans Diversity Fellowship is a two-year internship program focused on first-year law students from a historically underrepresented background, which may include race, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity.
“We are thrilled to welcome Madeline as a summer associate and as our Diversity Fellow,” said Lisa McKinney, chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. “We are always striving for our firm to better reflect the clients we serve, and Madeline’s commitment to increasing diversity in the legal profession is admirable.”
As a summer associate, Aul will work with Bose McKinney & Evans partners and associates in all practice areas. Over the course of the program, she will receive hands-on experience by taking on a wide range of legal assignments and will interact with the firm’s attorneys and other legal professionals at networking events throughout the summer.
Aul recently completed her first year at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is a member of the Business Law Society and has completed projects on providing legal assistance to incarcerated individuals and those needing protective orders. During her first year of law school, she provided more than 25 hours of pro bono service.
