INDIANAPOLIS – The law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans (BME) is pleased to announce that Greg Loyd has joined the firm’s Utilities Group as a partner. Loyd will act as special and local counsel for many for-profit and non-profit utilities, municipal corporations, municipalities, energy industry stakeholders and other governmental and private entities in utility-related matters. He will also represent clients before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission as well as in the state and federal courts.
Before joining BME, Loyd served as an administrative law judge for the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, where he managed caseloads involving base rates, contracts, jurisdiction, mergers and acquisitions, financing and economic development. He is an experienced state and federal courtroom litigator, previously serving as a deputy prosecuting attorney and deputy attorney general. He has a proven track record of leadership, mentorship and process improvement.

Loyd graduated from Indiana University – Bloomington with bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and political science. He earned his juris doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law – Indianapolis.
