The Indiana Bar Admission Ceremony took place Oct. 24, 2025, in Indianapolis. Congratulations to our summer and student associates Madeline Aul, Farrah Goodall, William Hogsett and Patrick Zeid for meeting all admission requirements and being sworn in to the Indiana Bar. All four are now associates with Bose McKinney & Evans LLP.
Aul is now an associate in the Business Services and Real Estate Practice Groups. Her practice includes assisting with mergers and acquisitions transactions and assisting businesses and individuals with general corporate and legal advice, business transactions, general business planning and advice, contracts, employment matters, and shareholder issues and disputes. Passionate about giving back to her community, Aul provided more than 60 hours of pro bono service during her law school career.
Goodall has joined the Litigation and Construction Groups. During her law school career, she served as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Indiana, a legal extern for Indianapolis Public Schools, executive articles development editor of Volume of 35 of the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review and was an advocate on the IU McKinney national moot court teams. Goodall was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta and Women’s Caucus, a participant in the ABA’s Judicial Clerkship Program in 2023 and served as a law school student ambassador and writing tutor.
Hogsett is with the Utilities and Local Government Practice Groups. His practice includes assisting political subdivisions throughout the state with administrative proceedings, litigation and various local issues. During his law school career, Hogsett spent two years with the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law REACH Reentry Clinic, helping federal probationers and formerly incarcerated persons reintegrate into society with brief legal services and advice. He was also a member of the McKinney Professional Development Institute and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. He served as a legal extern for the Court of Appeals of Indiana and was an intern for our fully integrated public affairs firm, Bose Public Affairs Group. Prior to law school, Hogsett had a legislative internship with the Indiana House of Representatives and served as a reporter for the Anderson Herald Bulletin and the Indianapolis Star.
Zeid works in the Intellectual Property Group in patent, trademark and copyright matters, including reviewing prior art, assisting with the preparation of patent applications and developing Office Action response strategies. After earning his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Purdue University, Zeid worked as an engineer in the medical device industry, where he supported new product development of various medical devices, focusing on ensuring compliance with federal regulations while contributing to design with an eye towards manufacturability. While at Purdue, he interned as a test engineer for a medical device research facility where, amongst other duties, Zeid performed a variety of prototype and post-market testing that included authoring testing protocols and reports with a focus on creating testing environments that simulate the human body.
