Sam Laurin, partner and chair of the Bose McKinney & Evans (BME) Construction Law Group, was elected and recently inducted as an American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL) Fellow.
The ACCL is a national organization of lawyers who have demonstrated skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice or teaching of construction law and who are dedicated to excellence in this specialized field.
ACCL fellowship is extended only to those who are found to have mastered the practice or the teaching of construction law and dispute resolution in the complex technical and legal fields pertaining to the built environment, whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, scholarship, professionalism and collegiality, and who have demonstrated a commitment to “give back” to the construction industry. Fewer than 300 attorneys are fellows.

Laurin, who is also a member of the firm’s litigation group, concentrates his practice on litigating construction claims and insurance coverage disputes, as well as negotiating commercial construction contracts. He has served as lead counsel in jury and bench trials in federal and state court, as well as in numerous arbitration proceedings, many involving complex construction matters.
Earning his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington, Laurin is Peer Review rated by Martindale-Hubbell for more than 20 years and recognized as an Indianapolis Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers®, a Top 50 Indiana Super Lawyers® and is a recipient of The Indiana Lawyer Leadership in Law Distinguished Barrister Award. His work has also been repeatedly acknowledged by The Best Lawyers in America®, Chambers USA and Indiana Super Lawyers®.
