The attorneys of Bose McKinney & Evans assist clients through government processes and procedures when they seek permits or face enforcement actions. Regardless of which administrative agency or governmental entity – city, county, state or federal – we work with clients to prepare applications and represent them before the appropriate administrative body.
Alcoholic Beverage Law
The firm has a niche practice in representing clients’ interests in alcoholic beverage issues, including permitting. We represent national and local clients, including restaurants, larger retailers, hotels, developers, importers/distributors, bars, golf courses, drugstore chains, vineyards, breweries and boutique stores in administrative proceedings and hearings before the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (ATC) and Tax and Trade Bureau. Our attorneys assist with the procurement of alcohol permits, apply for permit transfers, respond to alleged violations, negotiate with excise police and ATC prosecutors, attend local board hearings and pursue appeals of denials of permit applications. Drawing on the team members’ experience, we also guide clients through compliance audits related to documentation, marketing, signage, training, minimum food, pricing, distribution, and other Indiana rules and regulations issues.
