Alyssa Case is of counsel with Bose McKinney & Evans’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, where she advises clients ranging from individuals and startups to multinational corporations on intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on patent preparation, prosecution and portfolio strategy.
Keith Swedo is of counsel to Bose McKinney & Evans and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. He concentrates his practice in intellectual property – including patent, trademark and copyright law – and has been a frequent lecturer in those areas.
Dr. John Emanuele is of counsel to Bose McKinney & Evans and is a member of the Intellectual Property Group. He has experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology arts.
Douglas (Doug) Yerkeson is a partner in the Intellectual Property Group, assisting clients in patent, trademark and copyright matters. Doug provides patent novelty, validity, non-infringement and freedom-to-use analyses and options. He also represents clients in domestic and international patent and trademark applications.
Brian C. Pauls is of counsel with the Intellectual Property Group of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. Brian represents clients the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and counsels clients concerning the scope of competitor patents. He also provides legal services related to trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and intellectual property licenses and agreements. Brian has experience with automotive steering and brake systems, fluid filters, video tracking systems, compressors, small engines, medical devices and hospital beds, to name a few. Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, Brian was an attorney at another large Indiana-based law firm and worked as an in-house patent counsel for both a Fortune 100 company and a Fortune 500 company. Brian is admitted to practice in Indiana and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He holds degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University and a law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
