Profile

Elizabeth Schuerman is a litigation partner at Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP. She practices primarily in medical malpractice defense, premises liability defense, and general litigation. Ms. Schuerman is well-versed in the intricacies of medical malpractice law in Indiana. She counsels clients, including hospitals and physicians, through the entire duration of a claim for medical negligence – from the required administrative claim process all the way through jury trials. She personally assists clients with every aspect of litigation including pre-suit negotiation, discovery, mediation, and trial.

Ms. Schuerman was recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyer – Rising Star from 2010 through 2013 and as an Indiana Super Lawyer from 2014 through 2018. In 2015 and 2016, she was also recognized in the Indiana Super Lawyers Top 25 Woman Lawyers.

Ms. Schuerman is active with the Indianapolis Bar Association and is a member of the Women in the Law Division Executive Committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Indiana Legal Services. She is a graduate of the United Way of Central Indiana Executive Women’s Leadership Program and of the Indianapolis Bar Association Bar Leader Series.
