Emily Wilson is a principal at Bose Public Affairs Group (BPAG). Although she is not licensed to practice law, she is also a part of the Bose McKinney & Evans Site Selection and Economic Incentives Practice Group. With more than 15 years of public affairs and public relations experience, Emily’s guidance is relied on by executive leadership at local, national and multi-national companies, federal agencies, industry associations and nonprofits.
Emily has vast experience serving clients across a wide range of fields, including life sciences, health care, charity gaming, education, technology and economic development. Since joining BPAG in 2015, her specialties have grown to include building and managing coalitions, strategic planning, media relations, advocacy, reputation management and crisis communications.
Prior to joining BPAG, Emily led national corporate accounts at a public relations agency. In this role, she directed a team to execute strategic communications plans and secure favorable worldwide media coverage for clients.
Honors / Awards
Emily is a recipient of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil Award of Excellence, the organization’s highest national award. She has also won PRSA East Central District’s highest distinction twice, the Best in Show Diamond award, both for public affairs campaigns, as well as several Pinnacle Awards for crisis communications and media relations and Awards of Honor for media relations and public affairs from the PRSA Hoosier Chapter.
Education
Emily is a graduate of Hanover College with a bachelor’s degree in English literature/letters. She also earned a master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University.
Appointments / Memberships
Emily serves on the board of directors for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter and Thrive Funds. Emily is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America Hoosier Chapter.
