Jodie Schurtter is an attorney with the firm’s Real Estate Group.  Jodie represents clients in real estate issues including complex negotiations, planning, financing, general business, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as the development of large retail shopping centers, office parks and industrial parks and the leasing of retail, office and industrial sites. She has represented clients in multi-million dollar private and municipal redevelopment efforts.  Jodie has experience with franchises and the hospitality industry, including complex sale-leaseback structured financing.  She earned her juris doctorate, cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law – Indianapolis in 1999 where she was on the Dean’s Tutorial Society and secretary for Phi Delta Phi. She received her bachelor of arts in psychology, summa cum laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1992 where she was a Presidential Scholar, Psi Chi, Phi Beta Kappa, recognized in “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities”, a senator in the student government and president of Phi Sigma Sigma. Jodie is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.
