Louise Conces is an associate in the Bose McKinney & Evans Litigation and Medical Malpractice Practice Groups.
Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans, Louise worked at a small medical malpractice and healthcare litigation firm, where she defended a wide variety of healthcare providers against claims of medical negligence. She also represented the Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Insurance in claims for excess damages made against the Indiana Patient’s Compensation Fund.
While in law school, Louise interned with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, completed two internships at Indiana University Health and clerked at a multi-practice law firm in Carmel, Indiana.
Prior to entering law school, she worked as the oncology data manager for the thymoma study at Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Hematology and Oncology.
Education
Louise earned her J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2018, with a graduate certificate in health law. While attending law school, Louise was the executive notes editor of the Indiana Health Law Review, Volume XV, and was a member of the Order of Barristers. She was a recipient of the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence, the Resident Merit Award, and the Krieg DeVault Excellence in Editing Award.
Louise graduated magna cum laude from Valparaiso University in 2014, with a major in biology and minor in chemistry.
Appointments / Memberships
Louise is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and the Indiana State Bar Association. She also volunteers at the Indianapolis Zoo and Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre.
