Profile
R.J. McConnell is a partner at Bose McKinney & Evans, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, and a member of the Business Services, Governmental Services, and Estate and Wealth Transfer Planning groups. In the corporate segment of his practice, R.J. assists privately owned businesses, health and life sciences industries, as well as publicly held companies, primarily in the areas of succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, business organizations and financing. His service in public office and on the Johnson County Economic Development Corporation board, as well as his representation of cities, towns and other governmental entities, provide him with first-hand experience in understanding the legal, political, economic, financing and public relations challenges of governmental clients. In addition, R.J. has niche experience in representing airports in operations and in public and private financings. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington. R.J. has written and lectured extensively on matters affecting businesses including business financing, buy-sell agreements, and business exit and succession strategies.
